TN TET 2017 Exam Results Announced
Tamilnadu Teacher’s Recruitment Board (TRB) had conducted the Tamil Nadu TET Examination 2017 in two phases. Paper 1 examination was conducted on 29 April 2017 and Paper 2 examination was conducted on 30 April 2017. The TN TET 2017 results for both the papers (Paper I & Paper II) has been declared on July 1 2017
2,41,555 candidates appeared for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test 2017 Paper I and 5,12,260 candidates appeared for the Paper-II examination.
On 2017 May 22, the answer keys were published on the website of the Teachers Recruitment Board and representations, objections, etc. were invited from the candidates within 5 days (upto May 27)
The TNTET Results have not been individually communicated to students. Now, candidates can check the Tamil Nadu TET results online in the official website of trb.tn.nic.in
The TET procedure was divided into sections. While Paper 1 aimed at selecting and recruiting teachers for classes 1 to 5th Standard.
Paper 2 aimed at selecting and recruiting teachers for classes 6 to 10th Standard (SSLC)

Anticipated that around 7.53 lakh students appeared for the TNTET 2017 examination. The TN TET answer key was already released before the declaration of result. Candidates who have appeared for the examination were allowed to send in the key answer objections. All objections were received in written and should be enclosed with documentary proof.
TNTET Certificate
Candidates would be expected to score 60% or more to be considered eligible. A 5% percent relaxation would be provided to candidates belonging to the categories of: BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, ST and PWD. The certificates would be issued only if the candidates have passed the TET Examination Paper I and Paper II.
The TNTET certificate remains valid for 7 years from the date of issue. The TET certificate stands as one of the eligibility conditions for appointment and recruitment and it isn’t the sole arbiter of certification.
