TN Fire Service & Rescue Services Department - Total 237

Age limit & Relaxation Details:
Cut-off date for age calculation - 01.07.2017
Minimum Age - 18 years completed
UR candidates: Maximum Age - 24 years
BC / MBC / DC candidates: Maximum Age - 26 years
SC / SCA / ST candidates: Maximum Age - 29 years
Ex-Serviceman: Maximum Age - 45 years
Destitute widow of all Communities: Maximum Age - 35 years
Instructions for the Transgender candidates:
**Transgender candidates may also apply for TNUSRB 2018 Police Constable Examination.
**Transgender candidates permitted to opt the SEX category as Male, Female or Transgender.
**If they choose category as 'Transgender' they should submit the identity card issued by 'Tamil Nadu Transgender Welfare Board'
**If they choose as Male category, they should full fill the Male categories Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
**If they choose as Female category, they should full fill the Female categories Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
**If they opt Transgender category, they will be considered in women category and 30% reservation is applicable for them

Part – A Section - General Knowledge questions - 50 MCQ’s
