Engineer-mate - 1 Post (UR); Salary - Basic Pay Rs.29200 - 92300/- (Level 5) plus allowances in 7th CPC Pay Matrix; Educational Qualification - 10th Std / SSLC Pass with experience of Engine Driver of fishing vessel certificate issued by MMD with 5 years; Age limit – 18 to 30 years

Skipper-mate - 1 Post (SC); Salary - Basic Pay Rs.35400 - 112400/- (Level 6) plus allowances in 7th CPC Pay Matrix; Educational Qualification - 10th Std / SSLC Pass with experience of holder of 2nd Engine Driver of fishing vessel certificate issued by MMD with 5 years; Age limit – 18 to 30 years

Seaman - 10 Posts (6 UR; 1 OBC; 1 SC; 2 ST); Salary - Basic Pay Rs.18000 - 56900/- (Level 1) plus allowances in 7th CPC Pay Matrix; Educational Qualification - 10th Std / SSLC Pass with 3 years experience in sea going mechanized vessel, which includes 2 years helmsman and seamanship experience; Age limit – 18 to 25 years

Greaser - 3 Posts (2 OBC; 1 ST); Salary - Basic Pay Rs.18000 – 56900/- (Level 1) plus allowances in 7th CPC Pay Matrix; Educational Qualification - 10th Std / SSLC Pass with 3 years experience in sea going mechanized vessel, which includes 2 years helmsman and seamanship experience; Age limit – 18 to 25 years

Launch Mechanic - 1 Post (ST); Salary - Basic Pay Rs.25500 – 81100/- (Level 4) plus allowances in 7th CPC Pay Matrix; Educational Qualification - 8th Std Pass with 5 years experience in sea going vessel, which includes 1 year independent charge of engine and auxiliary machinery; Age limit – 18 to 30 years
